Jeshua ben Damna

Jeshua ben Damna
(fl. 1st century)
   Israelite, high priest (c. 61-3). He was apponted by Herod Agrippa II but after a short period of office was displaced by Joshua ben Gamla. At the end of the Roman siege of Jerusalem (70 CE) he fled for refuge to the Romans, together with other members of priestly families.
